On January the 31st at 5:00 P.M. the Italian Pavilion at Expo Doha is organizing the event “Regional Climate Change Workshop: assessing impacts in the Mediterranean and Middle East” with the scientific collaboration of ENEA, Italian National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Economic Development, and Qatar University, as part of the initiatives planned in the Italian Pavilion of the Expo Doha 2023

The subject of the event is how climate change is affecting the sea.

Topics of the seminar are:
Landscape of high-resolution regional earth system models;
Focus on marginal seas; Impact-oriented perspective: sea level rise in regional climate projections;
Marine heat waves: detection and attribution
Methodology for assessing coastal risks in marginal seas for future climate scenarios
